Kalari Kshethra is the centre of the oldest form of martial arts, Kalarippayattu and the traditional form of Indian Classical Dance, Kathakali. Kalarippayattu is often called the mother of martial arts, the source from which the modern hand combat techniques like Kung-Fu and Karate have been evolved over the years. The centre conducts performances, workshops and classes that one can opt for to get an essence of the ancient art forms.
Kalari kshethra is a temple of Kerala Tradition. We have ancient Kathakali show from 05:00 pm to 06:00 pm and other Kalrippayattu show form 06:00 pm to 07:00 pm which is ancient fighting form and form which martial arts has been inspired.
